Looking at the popularity of Bengalure as an educational centre for Engineering and Management studies and to encourage our students to benefit therefrom, Maheshwari Sabha set up a trust Viz. Maheshwari Foundation in the year 2000 to set up and manage a hostel for boys. A suitable plot of land was identified in Rajarajeshwari Nagar area of Bengaluru as this area has around it some of the best Engineering colleges of the country. The foundation stone was laid on 21 st April, 2001 and the hostel was completed in a record time of less than one year!

The hostel was inaugurated on 21 st July, 2002 by Smt. Rajashri Devi Birla and has not looked back ever since. It is perhaps the most sought after hostel in Bengaluru and has been a great facilitator for our students.

The hostel has :

• 40 fully furnished rooms to accommodate 121 students.
• 2 rooms specially for visiting parents and student's relatives.
• Full fledged kitchen providing hygienic and wholesome food and dining hall.
• An air conditioned seminar hall.
• A Reading room.
• A furnished accommodation for our Warden couple who take great care of our students.

The hostel conducts various activates all through the year including Cleanliness drives, Blood donation camp, various sports events, celebration of all major festivals etc, A mega cultural event viz. Utkarsh is held every year wherein students get an opportunity to showcase their talents. Students who have performed well in academics and sports are recognized and honoured with special awards. Guest lectures are also held.

Over 650 students have benefited from our hostel so far and our hostel has a very proud and large Alumni scattered all over the world. Many of them have done us proud with their achievements across various segments.
